I can;t tell you how happy I was to discover that New Hope Lutheran Church- the building still exists.  I am 81 years old, now living in Bremerton, Washington.  As a young child I was a member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church which occupied your current building.  I was in the choir, Luther League, taught Sunday School and was confirmed in St. Thomas.  I am currently seeking membership in Silverdale Lutheran Church in Silverdale, Washington.  On a whim, I decided to see if St. Thomas still existed and four YOU!

I am so happy to see the church alive and well as New Hope.  I send you my blessings and all good wishes for success and a bright and happy future.

finally, I now know what happened to Good Shepherd Lutheran. My family  was a part of it from 1928-1956. I went there a few years ago and saw it had changed.  They were trying to restore it and wanted pictures of what it used to look like.  If anyone from the Good Shepherd congregation has any pictures from the inside of the old church, might you be willing to send them some copies. I had few, none of the whole front of the Sanctuary.   You have a lovely church, that seems active. May you be richly blessed

Loved the Christmas site, especially the YouTube link to the Women's Choir performance.  I also liked the updated and excellent "About Us" narrative and I appreciated Pr. Wesley's commentary in the "Pastor's Word".  The background music was well chosen and the updated photo albums were especially nice to view. Thanks for such a well done website and for returning my attention to it!   God bless you.  ~Kirk

The updated site is wonderful. We are so blessed to have this great way to communicate. We are all grateful for Pastor Wesley stepping in once again. His explanation of "interim" pastor and "vacancy" pastor is very informative. Thank you Pastor Wesley for being our "vacancy" pastor.

As New Hope continues to focus on discipleship and spreading the Good News of God's great love for all His people, thie web site is, in my opinion, the best communicator of our mission and vision that we have ever had. Together with Connections, our news magazine, New Hope is telling its story far and wide and keeping us connected with lots of folks. Thanks, Ophelia, for a fantastic ministry of communication.

What a joyous blessing I've experienced looking at the website of my old congregation. New Hope was such an  integral part of my life. I sang in the choir and under Pastor James Thomas did a number of one man concerts. Those concerts are with me today as some of the most memorable experiences of my life. I have been living in Mississippi for the past 17 years.  I wonder if anyone there remembers me! God Bless and I miss you New Hope!

What a beautiful user friendly site. Nice to see all the happenings. This really brings "Joy  to Ones Heart".  Sometimes one needs to  see inspirational messages, pictures and hear God's word thru song to get through the day. Today I needed just that. Keep up the wonderful, loving work. We will reach the "Golden Staircase" as a family together. Love to all my New Hope Family and my surrounding Community Friends. Come out and Join Us.

This is a beautiful website.... I was a member of this church back in the '50's when it was St Thomas...
It was so nice viewing the different photo albums & seeing the old church and the old neighborhood...
It's also good to see so many active people.... Especially the young people....I wish I could find some of the people from St Thomas, however many have passed on or just moved away....You folks have a beautiful family...God bless...

Greetings from the Lone Star state!
I take this opportunity to applaud my 'home'church for their ability to 'spread the love of Jesus' by sharing their story through words and pictures.  I take great pride in knowing and telling that I am a product of this 'phenomenal' church body.
Continue to strenghten us all by your continuous journey of spreading what the Gospel does.  Loving you alway, Diane

Friends - I just recently heard that New Hope has a website - yes, word has traveled to Florida!  It's good to catch up on what God is doing in your midst, and to feel the spirit of joy in all of it.  As always, New Hope, you raise the standards in all you do - it gives the rest of us a sense of what can be accomplished!  The People of God at St. Timothy in Miami Gardens join me in giving thanks and praying with and for you!
